How to Change Your Audi TT Key Fob Battery: A Simple Guide

Is your Audi TT key fob becoming unresponsive? You might be facing the common issue of a dead battery. The key fob for your Audi TT MK3 uses a small, non-rechargeable lithium-ion battery to power its keyless entry system. This system is essential for remotely locking and unlocking your vehicle, and in some Audi TT models, it even controls features like windows and wing mirrors. Step 1: Locate and Press the Key Release Buttons

Step 2: Slide Out the Physical Key

While keeping the black buttons pressed, gently slide the physical key out from the key fob. This key is a backup entry method and needs to be removed to access the battery compartment.
