Hello! I’m encountering a problem with my Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) in my VW Golf MK7. It initially stopped working after a minor incident last year when I drove into a soft snow pile. There was no visible damage, and aside from the ACC, everything else functioned normally, with no fault codes appearing initially.
After some time, I managed to get the ACC working again, possibly by adjusting its connector and using a protection mode – though I don’t recall the exact steps. It worked for about six months until I drove through a slightly larger puddle on the highway. Since then, the ACC has stopped functioning again.
Now that winter is back with snow, a new error code has appeared indicating “snow in front of the ACC,” suggesting it might be related to visibility, but it still refuses to activate. I’m seeking assistance in diagnosing and resolving this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
