Secure Your Ride: Why a Key Fob Storage Box is Essential

Experimentation has shown the effectiveness of signal blocking. Placing a key fob in a simple metal container, like a steel coffee can, can disrupt its ability to communicate with the vehicle. Further experimentation using aluminum foil demonstrated similar signal-blocking capabilities. Wrapping a key fob in just a single layer of folded aluminum foil prevented both vehicles from responding to the fob’s signal.
